Time to give up milk. The mounting evidence of milk being bad for you is hard to ignore, I shall miss my 5 cups of tea a day and an occasional Carmel frapachino. ( How do you spell that? )
There is a season of programs tackling race and racism on CH4 in the UK at the moment. The first two programs cover people taking cosmetic surgery to look more "white" and the 2nd program looked at the scientific argument of intelligence in different races. According to the scientists black people perform the worst then its the white people followed by asians at the top. In the end the program concluded that the results for IQ tests were influenced by environment rather than race DNA.
Anyway someone pointed out to me that yes there are differences in race but the difference in a black person and a white person is so small that people shouldn't even concern themselves with it.
his words
" As far as Im concerned we are all the same race. Me, you or the next man down the street. An Elephant and a mouse ...now thats what you call a different race!"
Altho his terminology and definition maybe at fault. I cannot argue against his logic which is essentially true. All humans are just the same regardless of race.
Ive requested an account on Google wave, i wonder if they will get back to me and give me a preview account?
Google are the only ones that seem to try and innovate within the IT arena, must be all the PHD students they have on their books. The Wave feature seems pretty interesting, from my understanding its like a personal forum where you start a new thread/topic and everyone can post a picture, video or a reply.
How long before google connects these individual waves and creates a Tidal wave and destroys the current FAD that is FACEBOOK?
The English defense league is in the centre of Manchester on the 10th of october, I was wondering if i should take my camera out and take some pictures of the stand off between them and the anti nazi league. I was planning on going to the top floor of a near-by car park so i could get a few high up shots of the people and then process it in photoshop for a tilt shift effect.
On 2nd thoughts i dont really think i can maintain my enthusiasm to do this and photograph a bunch of skin heads chanting. I'll make a mental note and keep the parents indoors incase they get caught up in the cross fire.
What i dont understand with these racists who fight for "white Britain" is their nazi salutes, why would they use a salute to celebrate an idea from a man who caused the deaths of so many white British soldier who in turn they believe are TRUE british!!!
Also with being a racist is it like being a Jehovah witness ? where instead of not taking blood transfusions, racists don't buy or use products from foreign countries?
So if i was a British racist i wouldn't be able to use
1. Electric goods not made in uk... well practically everything is made in china/taiwan or japan so they are screwed there!
2. They wouldnt be able to enjoy cuisine that is not British, Mmmmmmm ok so no Curry or chinese takeways for a start and ok the nation dish of England maybe Fish and chips. But then again the potato was imported from Foreign land? Even if we let they have that the cheap chicken in tescos it's NOT from the UK but imported from across the world near Brazil or some other country where brown people live? Are they allowed that too?
Now so far we have ruled out electronic entertainment, cuisine and food not produced by the british that the racists can't use. Lets Assume they found a chicken that was 100% british and by some miracle some cooking device that was produced by the queens finest in the UK.
It leaves the final problem of cooking that english roast chicken, and thats the gas. Its a problem because england imports its Gas from foreign shores so the energy to cook the food has to be 100% british not British pipes, Russian gas!!! Thats just not tolerable for a modern day racist?
Geez with all this effort to be a true racist isn't it much simpler to just be nice ?
That way you could enjoy your Playstation 3, good food and cheap TRENDY clothes from the far east.
I want to blog but I'm finding it harder to think of anything relevant or remotely interesting to blog about. I want to write something but there is nothing out there that hasn't been said or isn't so obvious that its not worth saying.
I have nothing insightful or meaningful to say at all.
So here I am blogging about my own inability to blog, while on the surface it may seem like a stupid thing i can look back on this post in 2-5 years time and see a time stamp/snapshot of myself blogging about nothing. And what would this achieve? I guess it would give me an insight into what i was thinking at that time, i.e nothing in particular that is interesting. Which is Ironic because the only reason i would look back on my own blogs from 2-5 years ago would be because at that precise time i would be doing "nothing particularly interesting."
So in effect or affect ( I cant never remember which one to use [ must look up english grammer.com]) this blog is an connection point between two moments of bordem in the present and future!!!
Well to end this random post i will post a random picture of a random person i took at a random time.
I just hope my future blogs are of better substance (-__-)
I torn my pec muscle in the gym yesterday, fully expecting it to be black and blue its nothing like the sort. I think ive been lucky and only torn the minor instead of the tendon.
Hearing a ripping sound like a towel being ripped into two was not fun.
Looks like its cardio training only for me until its back 100% ( -_- )
Manchester is once again holding its weekend of street art courtesy of .. well i don't have a clue but I'm just glad that its here. The event kicked off from 18:00 till 21:30 and was filled with various plays and dance. It was a pretty good evening but for the people who couldn't understand or care what was going on talking during the performance and shouting out comments. Performers included a wide range from Sufi and Zen dancers to disabled people and people who suffered from down syndrome. Instead appreciating what was before them some section of the crowd try to make some jest in an attempt to entertain themselves and "friends".
Every year the A level and GCSE exam results get better and better, ergo our young saplings in the UK are getting more and more intelligent. But how come these budding seeds turn out to be weeds despite the evidence of results? The TV and internet is just breeeding generations of EXAM takers instead of THINKERS!.
If you can't think for yourself.. you can only FOLLOW.
Reminds me, i need to know what objetct i'm missing that i havent bought yet. I better watch some TV and find out.
Everyone wants to be famous these days regardless if they have talent or not. But what does it mean if you don't have talent, you are not top of the class, you can't run the 100m in sub 10 seconds and you are just average in looks? Should you just curl up and find the most convenient place and die in the corner? Is it ok to just be average and dare i say mundane? Books can be boring compared to the fancy gadgets of today but they contain valuable knowledge! ( all except novels written by Paulo Coelho, his stuff is just pants!!!)
The problem is iIf everyone had a talent then no one would be termed "Talented". We shouldn't look at people with talent in awe but instead we should condemn them as freaks that remind us how rubbish we are as human beings. Maybe thats a bit harsh ... but we should at least pelt them with eggs LOL
I use to pay the violin as a kid but gave up.. because i lacked talent...reminds me.
